Indiana Girl Indiana Jones

It’s been an adventurous experience; plummeting into the unknown and seeing where this art dream will take me! I can’t help but acknowledge clues along the way from the Universe that assures me ‘keep going’ and ‘you’re on the precipice of something’. With that said, the most eerie piece of the puzzle has been the depiction of people I feel compelled to paint over and over again. They feel like ghosts/our ancestors demanding to be heard and requesting to be seen. When viewing the work, I wish for others to feel just as eerie and mystical as I do about them. Like Indiana Jones on an epic archaeological hunt or Nicholas Cage decoding human history - these are the people that come to mind when I’m observing my finished pieces. My hope is that others join me in the awe of this great mystery. That you too are piecing this together alongside me. That there’s information to decipher from these works.
